Sometimes you want to find an assembly or a single small part within a large project, but there are so many parts!

Opening a "Model Browser"
To find a single part or assembly in Autodesk Advance Steel, first you need to open the “Advance Steel Tool Palette” located on the ribbon:
In the Tool Palette, go to the “Selection” tab on the left and open “Model Browser”:
In the “Model Browser”, you can sort parts by Single Part, Main Part, or Preliminary Part (options available in the dropdown menu in the top right corner):
Isolating the Part
Once you find the part you are looking for, you can isolate this part in the view by clicking “Isolate” and then, to exit from isolation mode, you can use the “Show All” button.
